It's Getting Close

Not only is it lighter in the morning, the red-winged blackbirds are back now.


I can see them in the dried cat-tails in the pond and hear their distinctive call.

One of my favourite parts of running in the morning is the number of noisy and colourful parrots around here. Black cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, pale headed rosellas, galahs and more. Nice pic!
